rat control exterminator

Rats are a major menace for houses all over the world. Here are some techniques that can help you remove the rats from your home.
One of the most effective ways to do this is to use electronic pest control techniques. These methods make use of very high frequency sounds produced by ultrasonic devices that can repel the rats. Only rats can hear these sounds and hence the devices are safe for humans and domestic pets.
Organic rat repellents are also good solutions for successful removal of rats. This technique makes use of minute tablets or pellets that smell like rat predators and hence drive the rats away. These can be spread evenly around the home, garage and any other place which can serve as breeding grounds for rats.
You can also use moth balls that emit very strong repelling smell and can drive the rats away from your house. These can be put at all the corners of the residence for maximum effect.
One of the ways that have been in practice for quite some time now is the use of mechanical traps, commonly called wooden snap traps. They are less expensive and quite efficient when fitted with appropriate baits. They must be kept away from children and pets as they can cause injuries. The limitation with such snap traps is that they can catch one rat at one time. Though, the advantage of this technique is that it is not hazardous like chemical pesticides.
You can also use a glue board to trap and kill rats. These are usually made of cardboard or wood, and their surface is smeared with sticky glue. You can put bits of bread on the board that can serve as bait for rats. When rats access the food, the glue sticks to them and they can’t get off the board. This finally results in their death by starvation.
